It's getting tough out there. Feeling the pinch?

Hi all,

I'm planning to do my aunt & uncle a Scottish themed hamper for Christmas, especially products that look Scottish/have tartan on that will look nice when wrapped in cellophane too. So far I've thought of some Baxters soup, Walkers shortbread and Mackays preserves. Can anyone give me some more ideas? They're not very adventurous food-wise so nothing too 'out there'.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never bought haggis before, I wasn't sure how it needs to be stored, i.e in the fridge or not, will look into it. Also just thought of Tunnocks teacakes & caramel bars too.

Grant's tinned haggis is pretty decent and Tesco etc. stock it. No need to worry about keeping it fresh.
