Runner beans make a really nice chutney if you cut them finely 😉 When I had my plot I refused to grow them (put off for life as a child) so we had french bean gluts & I acquired runners for the then-husband from a plot neighbour.

I went to buy sugar today in Aldi, I haven't needed any for at least a year but 😱 the price!
Decided I'll just use caster sugar in guests tea instead of buying granulated 😂

Someone on Olio has got 550 bags of potatoes and 108 bags of radishes to get rid of. That’s one heck of a surplus.

As a person who has done the collections and put things on olio I feel for this person.  That is a lot to give away,  and they will have boxes all over the house.  Plus sometimes as much as you try people just don't want the excess even if nothing is wrong with it.  They think that there is a catch to it.  I hope they are in an area where they can be used and out of their home quickly
