I’ve not been able to get Dijon for months round here. Can’t have English mustard as I’m coeliac and they always have some nasty bits in for me but Dijon is 99% of the time, gluten free.Salad cream is hit and miss here too, I did manage to grab one last month but it was the last one on the shelf in Asda, Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi have all been out of stock ever since.3

Well Morrisons here had fully stocked shelf of salad cream, branded and otherwise. But the mayo was completely empty!February wins: Theatre tickets3

My daughter works in a certain well known restaurant chain ( not We*********s) and they are constantly having shortages on their deliveries so if you go to a restaurant and they dont have what you want dont blame the waiting staff. They are doing their best.

The difficulty they have is that they wont know what they are getting until the delivery arrives and it cannot be rectified until the following delivery - hopefully. The staff are constantly being abused for it just the same as they were during lockdown over mask wearing.

We had a problem in a pub on holiday on the IoW earlier this month with no fish available at all, but DD went sea fishing the next day and caught some beautiful bream which my son-in-law cooked and it was free and couldn't have got it fresher than that
Not a great deal of choice in the supermarkets for fish at the moment ,but later next month I shall go to my local wet fish shop and restock with so of their delicious stuff. not very cheap but well worth the extra I think and its a local business
I'm all in favour of supporting local shops if I can

I noticed yesterday actually that Tesco didn't have too much in stock of many things.
I eat quite a lot of fruit and veg and no green bananas doesn't make CK happy. Lettuce has increased in price although that was offset by parsnips for 26p.
Meat has also noticeably increased again in price, so came away with some Polish ham (which is still £1.50 for 100g but much nicer than the cheaper Tesco stuff) but other than this going vegetarian for most of the next 2 weeks once the little meat in the freezer has been used.
A lot of fish products were also out of stock. This was in the Harlow store as I was passing through and it has some ranges we like that aren't in my local one.💙💛 💔5
