I have tried turning my fuse box off fully and then monitoring the electricity meter for an hour to see if it changed and it didn't. Whilst it wasn't a long time, i would expect it to have changed a bit if someone else was using my supply.
If it only increments in 1kWh intervals (i.e. no decimal point), that's far too crude.  Watch the flashing red LED, which is probably 1000 times more granular if it flashes for every 0.001kWh.
My meter looks like this. I’m guessing it’s pretty old! I have taken a reading tonight and pretty much everything is off at the mains bar the wifi so will be interesting to see my overnight usage. Thanks for your help!

Quick washes don't always mean less power, look in the manual for the power use, using more gas heated water doing them by hand should be cheaper

It's been in service for a maximum of 22 years, so the average annual consumption would be about 2400kWh, i.e. well below average.  That assumes it wasn't in storage for a long time after calibration, but that's unlikely.  So something significant must have changed.

There's no red LED so you'll have to look at the spinning disk instead.  Looks like it's 240 revolutions per kWh.

Or about 7000kWh a year, if it has gone right round past 99999 - that seems high as the electric car won't have been around for all that time, but there may previously have been electric heating or an immersion heater.

See whether any cables disappear in an unexpected direction, and see whether there's a strange waccy smell from a neighbouring flat...
There was a very similar thread but @Gentlegiant suddenly stopped responding (although still visiting the forum) so we were all left in suspense.

It might be on its second time around which works out at 7,000kwh a year over 22 years
