I will answer the question about where the sockets are fed from later.QrizB said:Thanks for all the photos. The fusebox labels are a bit confusing; you have circuits for lights upstairs, downstairs and in the kitchen but you only have a circuit for sockets in the kitchen? Where are the sockets for the rest of the house fed from?I would be tempted to remove the fuses from all the unused circuits and see whether anything unexpectedly stops working. If you can take meter readings today (first thing, before leaving the house, after getting back from owrk and then before bed) we can get a feeling for exactly when during the day you're using all your power.meter reading taken this morning

71800 at 6pm9kWh in 9.5 hours when the house is empty? That's not a good sign, it's more than many MSE'ers use in a day.If you can cut that phantom load down to 1-2kWh you'll be saving maybe 15kWh/day, 5500kWh/yr. The challenge will be finding it.N. That’s a job I’m going to do over the weekend, the water dispenser has been icing up so I’m thinking it may have a problem?Robin9 said:

It's interesting that in 10 hours overnight you used less electricity than in 9.5 hours during the day with the house empty. Is there anything you leave running when you're out of the house but switch off at night? That's not all - what about your fridge and your American fridge ? I can't help but share Robin9's suspicion about your refrigeration equipment. Could you tell us the brands and model numbers? Eg. there should be a label inside the fridge-freezer with this information?N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. YES! If it's making ice when it shouldn't, it's going to be using a lot more energy.Bounty1 said:
