Price increase and new contract
Hi,
I've not found anything on this with a search, sorry if it's been covered else where.
If I call my provider (EE) to haggle when my contract ends in March and get a good deal, will this deal be increased by the 9.3% increase in April? Is there a cut off point where a new contract is not hit by the increase? On the face of it, it looks like a customer who takes out a deal in the last week of March will be increased the following week.
Is this the same for the other networks? Do Three, O2 and Vodafone increase the customer bill for a contract taken out just before the price increase?
Thanks

I would suggest that all their pricing for new contracts would have the RPI increase factored in anyway.1

Wondering same thing. I think that the price increase applies to any contract created before the "Price Rise Day" in March/April for each network. So perhaps better to wait until April itself to sign up to a new contract.0 -
I've managed to find out that EE will not increase the cost of the contract if you sign up in March. It will increase any out of contract charges though in line with their price increases.0
