in Water bills
Excuse the title of this but I am at the end of the line trying to get hold of Thames water. Apparently it is mandatory that I have a water meter - umpteen letters from them to ring and make an appointment for installation.
For weeks and weeks I have tried ringing them and can never get through. I have left a message several times.....whilst waiting in the automated que a number is given to call and leave a message.... I have tried going to a website to book my meter installation but it just tells you to log in with no other link to register, etc......I despair, they are totally uncontactable. Their last letter told me they will transfer me to a higher no access charge if i do not respond with 14 days.....which is now up as i cannot contact them.
Does anybody know how on earth you contact these people. Thank you!

Your issue is called by the 'working from home syndrome'!!Ring the Consumer Council for Water - https://www.ccwater.org.uk/ - and explain the problem; hopefully they are not afflicted by the above syndrome!

Have you tried the below link? I know it is to request one, but it might trigger the process in a different way. Also, have you tried the online chat? I have only needed to contact them once, but the online chat worked fine.

Thank you both for your help. I went onto the link and requested a meter. I am not going to contact them any more and would defy them to put me onto a higher no access charge when they have been impossible to contact. I didnt see the online chat ?? I may just try one more time during the day. Thanks again0
