Hi
I have out of contract VM art £95 TV 200Mb/s BB LL and i want FTTH BB only but ofcourse they won't do this unless i take out a new contract for 18 months. Same with BT Sky etc. Has anyone managed to get a timing monthly FTTH BB connection in NI? Open reach have a long list of FTTH suppliers but they are all unknown to me and the first ones i tried all wanted long contracts.
TIA

Generally the reason for a long contract is to amortise the cost of installation, which in the case of FTTH isn't going to be cheap as they have to lay or string a fibre cable into your home and supply an Optical Terminating Unit and a router.
I'd doubt that anyone would offer a rolling or monthly contract unless you were willing to fork out the cost of the installation up-frontNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
There are a whole list of providers most of which i didn't recognise. It takes ages to enter details to reach and every one too find out if you can get a monthly rolling contract hence the post

Update: Virgin unexpectedly rolled over and agreed to migrate me to a monthly BB only and upgraded speed for free from 200-350Mb/s. Customer service uk based sand couldn't have been more helpful. Has to give back my two TiVos collected at the door😎☘️0

You can find them instantly on Google if you type them in. Or I can send you a Message with their website. It says openly on their page that the Contracts are either Monthly or 12 months.
There as another one I remember hearing about called Gigaclear I think, and various others like A&A.
Those websites literally offer Monthly contracts on their main pages, or after you type in your postcode to the Address Checker.
Just suggesting to check those out, so you can compare the Price versus VM.0
