Yes I did, it took over 2 months and I applied the day it opened in September (last year it went in within 24hrs).poppy12345 said:@Spoonie_Turtle do you claim the WHD? if so have you had yours yet? I applied before Christmas and haven't had mine yet. In 2019/20 i had it added to my account in the October so it's rather late this year. My gas at the moment is about £30 per month more than it was this time last year so that money will definitely help.
[Only paid for just over half of last month's bill though
we're electric-only; and this month's bill was even higher!] 0 -
That's odd how i haven't had mine. I remember i put my name down to be contacted way back in Septemeber, i think. I was never contacted to say applications we open so i applied in mid Novemeber.Yes, the increase in energy is ridiculous.0

Are these estimated reading or are you reading the meter? As given it is a new build any estimate maybe well off.daniel-2412 said:good morning everyone,
i know that things are crazy at the moment with energy bills, but i was hoping to get some advice on a new supplier, i have recently moved to suffolk and the eon next flex they seem to have put me on seems ridiculous to me, i was put on this as i moved in on sept 22nd, it was a new build, i am a single person with disabilities needing more water but i am pretty basic on everything else, i no longer work and compared to my brothers bills i am paying nearly double and he has a family of three. if anyone has any ideas for good tarrifs or any extra help available i would be very grateful for any help... thank you
We live in a 2 bed bungalow. 2 people working from home, so PC's running pretty much for over 12 hours a day. We are now with Eon next as previous supplier went bust & we got moved to them.
Our monthly electric is under £80 (back in 2021 £60) But I do read meter each month. Gas is our form of heating.
If thinking of moving as M Lewis has said. Do not go to a fixed tariff.Life in the slow lane0 -
