Virgin Mobile switching networks from EE to vodaphone resulting in no mobile service for customers
Options
With Virgin switching all its customers to the Vodaphone network by early 2022 you may find yourself like I have with no mobile service in my house unless I use it off my my broadband. On the EE network it was fine. I'm sure Virgin have this covered in their contracts, but when choosing a service provider this is the most important thing - service. So if your Virgin contract is up for renewal please check that it actually works for you !

Post reads as check it works in your house .No network guarantees coverage at every location , see multiple posts going back many years .Plus the MSE recommendation to grab some network sims and check in your preferred location first.0

I thought Virgin had just merged with O2?

Virgin mobile seems to be in a bit of a mess, and I'm with them. Some customers are now with Vodafone, and new customers are with O2, that's what I understand anyway, and that was a comment I read on here.David.0

They switched me to the vodafone network last week, and now I have no reception in the house. I tried asking them to enable wifi calling, but they gave me the PAC code instead. It's a minefield finding which android phones are supported for wifi calling. The operator's lists all seem inaccurate, incomplete or not up to date. Fortunately, my Nokia 3 works with 1p Mobile or Asda SIMs, even though it's not on anyone's list.0

So if it's in your menu it is supported (if turned on on the app/website).However phones can be bad with it with a marginal signal. Sometimes in the house I have to turn on airplane mode to cancel network access but re-enable wifi to get a decent call. This applies on any network in such areas.I would think any networks lists for theis is just an old relic of the internet these days. Back when it was considered premium and they restricted it.1
