Telegraph are saying as from 11 Feb, but don't think it's confirmed yet.

A little harsh - butI agree , at the moment doing anything early is rather foolish as things change on an almost weekly basis. I was actually abroad earlier this month when the pre departure tests were scrapped and the day 2 return tests changed from PCR to LFT

I was actually abroad earlier this month when the pre departure tests were scrapped and the day 2 return tests changed from PCR to LFTMy post was in response to the several we have had on here from people travelling as late as June or July and already asking about booking their tests, I do not mean booking just before you go. My own PCR test was booked 3 days before I flew out and then not needed, but luckily I had booked with testing4all and within a few hours of the Government announcement they had refunded me in full with a note to say I didn't need them- and offering a link to re purchase LFT instead.I still think that booking tests now for holidays several months away is foolish .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
