Parking Fine for Overstay. I Definitely Wasn't There all Day

Just received a £100 fine for overstaying at a retail park car park. They claim I entered the car park at 11.25am and left at 17.20pm. Well, as it's only 2 mins drive from our house, we always go there, shop and leave within an hour at the most. The photos do show my car, but I'm thinking that we may have visited more than once during that day (12th Jan). I have no proof in the way of receipts from other places. Any advice? I don't want to pay £100, but the £50 offer is still a con. Is it possible that they might have missed a quick visit. We often shop there and leve, to come back later.

Did you buy anything on a card at all?
your statements might jog your memory?
otherwise read the sticky and don’t admit anything until you do.2 -
This is a well known fault with ANPR cameras in car parks; having said "fault" it might well be deliberate as parking companies profit from the "fault". First port of call is to read the NEWBIE sticky, then, having found Plan A in the sticky, complain to the supermarket/shop/retail park. If that doesn't work and they refuse to cancel the PCN, submit a SAR to the DPO of the PPC (all acronyms in the sticky) and ask for all the orphan images of your vehicle with the VRM of ABXXCDE. Do not reveal the driver's name (just in case the PCN is nor POFA compliant).4

Nothing going over old bank or credit card statements? Did you always pay cash ? Either way, follow Le_Kirk's advice and ask for those orphan imagesThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.1

No it isn't usually run by several agents; a retail park will be managed by one agent in almost every case. Mostly, their name it will be on the bottom of the main entrance sign, or you can Google and look for retail units for sale adverts.
Anyway don't forget that first advice above, to email CP's data protection email (see their data privacy page).
This is not the same as an appeal.
Tell them this was two short visits and to supply you with the data of ALL your car's VRM captures on site that day, specifically searching for 'orphan images' between the default 'first in last out' images, as their mandatory manual checks have clearly failed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Care parking, but where is the retail park?As for google location history, try this:On a PC / laptop go to google map, log in using the same account as the one on your phone , go to the menu and select time line, select the day in question.Next to the bottom right you will see two boxes "map " and "satellite" to the left of these is a gear icon, click on that and then show raw data your blue timeline will change to red spots, next zoom in and hover the mouse icon over a red dot for the time at that locationFrom the Plain Language Commission:
