    thankyou to everyone thats replied. im finding this all very tressful. i have filed an aos at moneyclaim now i guess il think about filing a defence i dont know if there is any point i have no idea how often these things are overturned it just seems crazy that they can charge me 500 pound and stain my credit file for staying 10 mins too long at boots. as if life isnt hard enough. thankyou all once again

    Don't leave it too long thinking about a defence, you have until 14th February to submit one.  Have you seen and read the template defence?  It is one of the announcements on page one of the forum.  You only need to edit paragraphs 2 & 3 with your reasons for refuting the claim.  Sow us your edits for those paragraphs an the forum regulars will help you with a critique of it.

     i guess il think about filing a defence i dont know if there is any point i have no idea how often these things are overturned.

    No, and that (MCOL) is not how the Template Defence thread tells you to do it.  This is easy, takes half an hour.  Do it today,
