Back from a lovely lunch out with DD. Parking was a nightmare but we got a space in the end. Had a short wander around some trendy shops with her, then dropped her back so that she could go to a lecture. DH now snoring away after his big day out 😡. I ought to go and fill the green bin for tomorrow’s collection but haven’t got the motivation.I did s&s bathrooms before we went, and polished bits to make it look as if I had cleaned everywhere. HHI to do, so I really ought to shift myself.12

Just back from being poked and prodded etc. All good for another year.
DD1 reloaded WM & TD
Garden already looking SO much better. They're back again tomorrow.
Joyeux anniversaire Fayolle DD.
Better think about dinner. DD1 & OH have gone shopping for new loo parts and an excuse to show off his new car. Might ask them to pick up something for dinner or else we could have risotto (OH always cooks that if I chop up the onions)
Might spell in the WAC last night is suddenly catching up with me so I'm calling it a day and going to sit down and see what's on TV. A glass of wine might be meritted after the smear test etc.

Happy belated birthday to your DD Fayolle, glad you had a nice day.
And lovely pics of some of your brood as always Pigpen, everyone looks so happy.
ASB this not feeling well is going on for a while, do you need a check up? I know you have a lot on your plate and like me are prone to being anxious but I am worried there is more to it than that. Have you thought about seeing the doctor?
Anyway, update from me. Took DS for his colonoscopy yesterday, he has a big ulcer in his bowel but not much inflammation, so we are not sure whether the ulcer would be causing his symptoms. We have to wait for the consultant and results of the biopsies, I am just as worried as I was before.
While he was getting that done I walked from the hospital into the big city centre, bought myself a coffee and walked back. It was amazing to be out somewhere different, around humans! And I didnt feel anxious at all!
In the office today, thyroid check and smear test this morning, will be glad when thats done, then haircut this afternoon.
Best get in the shower, have a good day all x13 -
Morning all xx
Paid stuff today. Whoopee. Marvellous. Nope I'm not convinced by me either but it was worth a try 🤣
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped my brew. LFT is-ve. So all systems are go...da dada dah, dada da da da da da da dah. 😁
Sweetie is behaving most peculiarly this morning. I thought he was having a stroke when I came in but it seems he was only skitting at something that had frightened him. Then he was running up and down his perch - his way of getting my attention and it usually means it's 10pm and he's ready for bed. Obviously not the case 🤔. He's preening so must be feeling OK now. And a biiigggg streeetttccchhhh. That's always a good sign. 👍
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I head off.
Have a good day my lovelies

Morning, up and going after a much better night's sleep. Very cold and frosty here but set to be a bright day again.
Bed made, clothes picked up, will open windows once DD1 is up or else it'll get too cold upstairs
WM on
TD on
WULTD
DW on
Kitchen wiped down
Banking and spreadsheets done
Pellets brought in
Gardeners here again but DD1 and I are going to have an hour around the shops, she needs some walking shoes/boots and then we'll have a look around a few others and maybe get lunch out, a friend of hers runs a lovely organic place in town so if we can eat in we will go and give her some support, she's finding it hard with fewer people in the office.12 -
YL.. ulcerative colitis is a thing in my family and the symptoms can be horrible. My mother lost about 6st about 11 years ago from hers.. Jasper had allergic colitis as a newborn and his was badly inflamed but lots of tiny ulcers.. that was terrible to see too, he was in so much pain. I hope the biopsies are clear and he can heal quickly
Pixie struggled to get out of bed tody.. and Twinkle is taking forever to eat her breakfast.
Washing washing and more washing today.
