Certificate of representation

Hi I am trying to claim from Turkish airlines for a cancelled flight. They have replied saying they need a certificate of representation to confirm my partner is happy for me to claim on their behalf. But what does a certificate of representation mean? Thanks

Can your partner not just make her/his own claim? It might be a whole lot easier.
  • Ahh great idea, I’ll definitely do that if it proves too difficult. Thanks
  • Hi, I hope this is ok but I'd like to add to this thread. I have recently been asked to provide a certificate of representation to confirm my children are happy for me to claim on their behalf after our long haul flight arrived 23 hours late. My children are 6 and 11, and given the process I would rather claim on their behalf as the six year old doesn't have a signature etc - is there a way around this? As above, does anyone know what Turkish Airlines mean in relation to this issue and a certificate of representation? Thanks in advance.
