It's a double-edged sword ... suppliers could engineer their products to last longer, but consumers are less likely to want to pay the extra cost.Dannii75 said:

I just checked my Whatsapp messages from last year to remind myself what my mechanic mate charged my inlaws for supplying & fitting the indicator stalk in their C1.
It was £67.50 !!
I'll be keeping said mate as sweet as possible
