I wouldn't assume that anything you see there, short of your final bill, is accurate.Foxymum1977 said:Matt Matt I have screen shots of the balance of my credit being £256 then has lately gradually gone down to £42 today so where has that gone? I wasn’t with PE in November I had already been set up by the end of October with BG. I was paying £132 a month so if they took £200 that was much more than an extra month.

Likely against any unbilled usage up to the final bill. If you can still access your online account with PE (as you said you can see £42 today) then you should be able to access billing information which would give you exact answers.Foxymum1977 said:Matt Matt I have screen shots of the balance of my credit being £256 then has lately gradually gone down to £42 today so where has that gone?
Much of it will actually depend on exact dates of switching over, initial usage estimates, actual usage as reported, rates applied etc.Foxymum1977 said:I wasn’t with PE in November I had already been set up by the end of October with BG. There is a proper process in place, the administrators have a process to follow, there is an audit and a full audit trail, the unfortunate reality of this process though is that those being switched over will be facing far higher unit rates, as well as the disruption of the administration process taking time to produce a final credit (or debt) to be transferred over.1 -

It's quite possible your £256 hasn't gone anywhere, but that PE's IT systems are running on automatic in the background and estimating imaginary usage since your latest PE bill.Until you get a final bill from PE, ignore the balance on your account.N.
