Hi, can anyone give me some advice on how to get the phone I want without paying a fortune?
I have been with O2 for nearly 4 years and swapped to a sim only deal with them in around October last year as at the time I was ok with the phone I have. This is a 1 year contract. This phone is now starting to play up as I've had it 4 years and I would like to get a new Samsung Galaxy S20 (I currently have an S9).
All the upgrade deals on O2 are in the high £30s for that phone and I only want to pay a max of about £26/27.
Is there anyway I can get the phone I want without having to sign into a new contract with O2 & pay high £30s each month? Grateful for any advice.

have a look at the MSE comparison tool. Although from past experience it will be cheaper to move away from o2 Compare Cheap Mobile Phones Contracts - MoneySavingExpert2

Look for refurbished or renewed as amazon call it? Not encouraging borrowing but that's what a contract is in effect, so a credit card with a long interest free period? I went away fom premium phones years ago and find brands like Xiaomi offer similar features at a lower price.4

Take a look at the Hotukdeals website where there are many posts relating to mobile phone deals.

I've had a quick look and mobile phones direct have deals on the s20 running on O2 and Three.
