PCN from Parkmaven ANPR However Ticket Was Paid

Good evening.
I have received a parking charge notice from Parkmaven who have pictures of my wifes car entering and leaving a car park at Whitgift car park in croydon and claim my wife did not pay for parking.
Not sure what these guys are playing at because the ticket was paid at the machine down stairs and is operated by Brittania parking I have also spoken to the security at the car park who also inform me that Britannia are indeed in control of the parking tickets at that car park.
I have done some digging and it appears Parkmaven are the owners of the ANPR system at the car park and have sent me this parking charge notice that I wish to appeal. Can anyone advise what the best course of action from here is? Clearly I bought a ticket but they have not recognised this.
Thanks in advance.

A relative got one here and did the same as you describe, perhaps, except I don't know where ParkMaven fit in.
In my relative's case, the wrong payment machine was used, the NCP multi storey is next to the open storey Britannia car park and in between, on foot in the alleyway, is a Britannia machine. Confusing.
Show us page 2 of the NTK, as that front page does not use 9(2)f of the POFA but maybe the back does hold the keeper liable?
You know not to say who was driving in any appeal, as per the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The NtK is PoFA compliant. However, the shopping centre's own website confirms that the PPC responsible for the car park is Britannia. Contact the shopping centre (in writing, no phone calls) and get them to cancel the ticket - see what they say. Also, contact the BPA and raise a complaint with them, ask them to investigate and get to the bottom of this apparently contradictory and confusing situation. Use the BPA's website's complaint's portal. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yes however it does say on there
PLEASE NOTE: We do not own or manage the Whitgift NCP car park located on Wellesley Road. Please contact YourParkingSpace on 03303338434.
I was parked in the NCP carpark and not the shopping center car park.
Is there any course of action I can take here. Sounds like a massive scam to me. Theres no barriers at the car park and literally no notices once you get in there just directions to the bottom floor which is where the Brittania machine is. This is the way I have always paid when I go there with no issues but seems someone else has taken control of that car park.1 -
But your PCN is not from NCP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do you have (or can obtain) photos of the signage in the NCP car park? They might help you (or not). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yes I know.
But the point is, Parkmaven are not who you made a contract with; you parked with NCP.
Unless they have recently contracted the site out to ParkMaven, in which case, ALL the signs in the NCP car park would have to talk about ParkMaven, not NCP.
My relatives had the same issue in mid 2021 and their PCN was from NCP, which makes sense. I just checked my emails and their parking contract and PCN was with NCP and the signage was NCP.
Your PCN company makes no sense to me.
Can you go back on foot, park in the Britannia side and pay, then walk into the NCP car park and look at every sign, including at the NCP pay machines. Take photos. Show us what you find.
Even if a sign or two has 'you are entering into a contract with ParkMaven' on it, turn detective and search all floors and find the odd likely forgotten NCP sign, or some where the Parkmaven sticker has peeled off.
If you can do that and embed the time and date of the photos into the images, you'd have grounds to appeal to POPLA (even though you didn't pay NCP!). Find conflicting signs in one car park and that's grounds to potentially win at POPLA as long as you explain it well, which we will help with.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
