Flight schedule change, arrival time 4hrs+ later

BA has sent an email about a schedule change for a flight (6,000km) in 17 days time. The amended time will mean I arrive back in London 4hr15min later than the original time. I am looking on the MSE article around flight delays and also the CAA advice, which leads me to believe if the flight goes ahead at the new time, I would be entitled to £520 compensation as I would be arriving later than the delay threshold of 4 hours.
There is some guidance for flight cancellations, about compensation not applying if the schedule change is notified earlier than 14 days, but no such guidance appears for flight delays. Would I still be entitled to compensation?

No.
You have the option to accept the change, request a refund or see if they have any other flights that would suit you better.0 -

You need to look at BA's terms of carriage to see if its deemed a major change, most airlines define that as a 12 hour change. If its not a significant change then you just have to suck it up, if it is a significant change by the definition in the contract it triggers a right to cancel for a refund or you accept it.0
