A while since I've needed to try but there should be no issue at all doing this

it normally isn't a problem unlocking your phone. If vodafone won't help usually a local independent shop will do it or somebody on ebay will ...1

If you want to switch and keep your existing phone number, text 'PAC' to 65075 to begin the process. Your provider will reply by text within a minute. They will send you your switching code, called a 'PAC', which will be valid for 30 days.Martin had this information on his programme last week.1

Thats not the same thing, this will enable you to transfer your existing mobile number to another network. The issue here is the handset is locked to Vodafone network (& those who use the Vodafone network).flipflopflo said:If you want to switch and keep your existing phone number, text 'PAC' to 65075 to begin the process. A question rather than an answer, if the OP obtains a free Lebara sim https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/checkout/multi/your-order will it activate / verify unlockedness when put in phone without need for credit top-up?0

If you can get Voda to unlock it for free, using link given by CX6 then I would do so while still a Voda customerThey unlocked one of my phones, free, no hassle at all and worth while still a customer to save any potential problems laterNumerus non sum1
