Has anyone tried to open up a First Direct bank account recently.? Applied 14 Dec 21. Completion date should have been 4thJan22. Nothing came in the post or email. No money was transferred from our existing account. Telephoned First Direct and was told it was been processed. Still nothing!! In contact again 10th Jan and…

Hi all.

I hold a HSBC account which is my main account that wages are paid into etc. It was opened way before 2019.

Has anyone switched to First Direct from another current account and held both HSBC and First Trust at the same time.

Don't really want to ever move away from HSBC but if I need to I will bite the bullet.
