  • Are you sure you have Actually paid Omega? From their own website they do not mention BACS payments at all?

How did you commission the repair, via their website, in a store?

The following methods of payment are available: VISA, AMEX, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, CHINA UNION PAY AND PAYPAL.

Simple answer is no, as you paid via BACS.

My question is though....what do they advise a normal timescale is for a watch repair? 14 days doesnt seem too excessive to me.

Also bear in mind you cant have back a fixed watch AND the money. You either get a fixed watch back, or your money along with the broken watch. Its feasible they could have already commenced the repair.
They’ve had the watch since July 21 they had to send it to Switzerland to complete the repair
They confirmed the watch had been repaired and was ready for despatch on the 3rd of jan
I am currently waiting for a parcel from italy and it has been sat in customs for over a week, and its nowhere near a grand. Its possible there could be shipping issues.

There are a lots of sites set up that almost appear to be official omega repairers but are not.  Are you sure you used the real Omega and not a clone or a company claiming to be an official repairer?

The official site suggests that all repairs are carried out in the UK and BACs is not an option available for payment.

If it is genuine and had to go to Switzerland then you could be waiting for upto 3 weeks.
