Macbook storage?

I am trying to free up some space on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) I can see 88Gb in documents but cannot find what is taking up all that space. When I look in documents the biggest file is 226kb and lots of smaller ones.

In your Documents you have 4 files over 226kB in that screenshot so I don't know why you think 226kB is the size of the largest file you have in there.

This is the documents folder. But I just don't see how all this makes 88GB0 -

On Windows, there's a really useful download called WinDirStat, which I use often.
These folks discuss what the Mac equivalents are ;

The storage management is looking at things that are "documents" (ie it will be files with certain suffixes), it doesnt matter where on the Mac they are stored... surprised that the TIFF files are showing there rather than under Photos but it is a bit of a bucket/catchallknightstyle said:

I use an app called "Disk Space Analyzer Pro" (there is also a free version), it's perfect for tracking down where disk space is being used.0
