I will be doing the same, been offered slighly higher rates for a 2 year fix from SP (6.86p/29.86p and standing charges 27.75p/25.14p Gas/Elec) but like yourself no exit fee.
I am just waiting for today's final direct debit for my current fix to be applied to my balance so the "adjustment for my current balance" isn't so large when I confirm.

Maybe I made the correct decision with the fix I selected a couple of weeks ago then...booshya said:

Looks like they've crept up the gas price and added exit fees in the past 2 weeks.
I also opted for a plan with boiler cover, which essentially was included in the deal for the first year.0 -

I’ve just had the rates below offered to start on 27/01 with a £40 early exit fee:Fixed Deal from So EnergySo Fennel Two Year - Electricity - 1 RateStanding Charge - 24.38. Unit Rate - 26.11
Don’t think it’s too bad considering it’s only 30% above current SVT with them?0 -

Been offered a 2 year, 5 months (29 months) leccy fix at 25p/unit with my current provider (no mains gas here).
From what I'm reading in this thread it seems a decent deal.
One fly in the ointment is I'm on a fix at 14p/unit till the end of June, that's making me think twice.
The second fly in the ointment is the £150 exit fee :'(,''He who takes no offence at anyone either on account of their faults, or on account of his own suspicious thoughts, has knowledge of God and of things devine.''0 -
Checked Today and now the quotes for 2 year Scottish Power quoting monthly DD is 299pm instead of 222pm The tariff has been pulled overnight and they have a more expensive new fix may 2024, I am glad i went for feb24 fix when i did, I think personally when you come off a fix you are hit with increase to bring you up to date 25% increase and then the current situation 50% increase and the further 25% for security of fix So i have increased my monthly payment from 120-205 But i am happy with my decision and my reasons why and I think although forums are very useful you have to make your own decisions Can always review/change as no exit21k savings no debt2

Ooof looks like my last minute double check that the month's direct debit had gone in last night to boost the balance a bit and accepted the fix was just in the nick of time then.
My DD went from £236 to £460 as I am a higher rate user being a guest house but I am happy with that as whatever the DD is I know I will only pay for what I use and the unit/standing charge rates were very viable.

That looks good, although you do start early.Red_Springer said:I’ve just had the rates below offered to start on 27/01 with a £40 early exit fee:Fixed Deal from So EnergySo Fennel Two Year - Electricity - 1 RateStanding Charge - 24.38. Unit Rate - 26.11

I have been offered "So grape" which for electricity comes at 30.6p per unit + 24.86 standing charge. However I would start at the end of march.
Did you go for it? It looks as if it has been pulled.0
