That's what I do! only have the heating on when family are down and temperature is 19.5 on the thermostat and the boiler temps are 47 degrees Water and 51 degrees heating. It's the grandkids that put my bills up by using the Xbox more than I do. 

as well as being low enough that you are potentially risking legionella. 

I wish people would stop overstating legionella risks on this forum. It only forms in standing water so if you are emptying your tank most days the risk is practically zero.

And I think @wild666 has a combi boiler, so there's no tank involved.
