Just to make clear, all their money will be theirs to spend as they wish, what am i saying all the money will be going on them as i want them to have fantastic time and a break from the mammy saying NO!:rotfl:

So thats £68 now only £932 to go!!!!

  • Once again i have left my diary unattended for ages.

i must do this everyday to keep myself on target/straight and narrow/motivated and sane!

I need to get a few things down on here, but my head is swimming at the moment with too many things.

i'm just going to note down a few things i need to do and that will make me feel a little better.

    [STRIKE]fill out form for dd's school[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]move ironed washing up stairs (prehaps even put it away!)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]put a wash on[/STRIKE]
put last wash out (if nice)
    [STRIKE]sort out mams bills[/STRIKE]
    send chq for me
    [STRIKE]ring up thing for mam[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]tidy kitchen table (i think there is one under there!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]do at least some of ironing pile/mountain[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]empty of bins and clean[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]wash kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    wash livingroom floor
    check on line banking
    [STRIKE]prepare meals[/STRIKE]
    £2.50 slice the pie

Okay i feel better now, only a few to go, think i will leave the banking till the girls in bed as its hard to do the banking while dressing up and playing barbies:D

  • not much to report,

just done the weekly shop and the cost of everything thing is going up!

i spent £60 for all 5 of us which i know isn't too bad but only a month or so ago i was spending about £50, so much for saving money of the shopping for the holiday:rolleyes:

well i have £2.50 to try and do on slice the pie to get my target and that will go to the holiday fund,

i did list a few things on ebay but couldn't do more as i seem to have sold everything else:D

hubby is out tommorow night so i am going to try for £5 on slice the pie then, to try and go over my target:D

    hi hun!

you're so lucky having this holiday to look forward to, £1000 sounds like a lot of spends, especially if you are not paying for meals out etc. So don't beat yourself up if you don't get that far.....

Have you any local pubs nearby that you could phone and see if they are looking for casual staff. get some cash in hand money?

Or i sometimes do admin work for small businesses, this pays quite well and would bump up the total. As long as you have pc access it's possible.

Glad to see your kitchen table is similar to mine. Everyone seems to think it is a dumping ground for schoolbags, gymbags and damp washing off the line when the rain starts!!!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Hi Maz

I know we are really lucky, i'm pleased that you think £1000 spending money is a lot, i was getting worried as i have heard other mums at the school saying we need about 2k!!!!

i did get a job, it's only one day a week, but they are struggling to sort out training as they wanted to do it through the week and i can't (i did tell them before my interview that it was a no go. ) so its going to be two full weekends training but i still dont know when.

the contents of my kitchen table tonight are: washing i brought in earlier but its not quite dry.

one of the girls toy cameras

    assortment of books

    playmobil fiqures

    pencils

    school bags

    dora toy

and me! oh and a wine glass:D

how are you? hope you are having better weather than us here in northumberland, its pouring and i have my heating on:o
