Gift for my solicitor?

My solicitor has been amazing from start to finish and if we make it to the end (hopefully soon), it will be hugely down to her effort in pushing and chasing the other side. I have sold one house through her and it completed in 5 weeks and my recent sale has gone equally smoothly. I talk to her on the phone a great deal and she is lovely.
Are they allowed to get gifts? Maybe I email her an Amazon voucher at the end of all this as a thanks? They are working at home, so wouldn't want to send anything to the office.
Anyone else get theirs a gift?

No, I didn't as they charged enough already no matter how nice they are on the phone or in emails. They are doing a job you are paying for.I did send a small thank you card.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

We for example can get gifts up to $75 without issue, between $75 and $150 has to be declared and over $150 has to be approved by your manager and Compliance. There is also special rules on the running total of gifts received in any year.
Personally didnt send anything partially because who dealt with the file changed daily and whilst it went smoothly I was unimpressed with certain elements of the service.0 -

Ask where they would most appreciate a very positive review.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

A tip equivalent to 20% of their firm's fee, in cash...
Seriously though, I'm not aware of any firms which prohibit (modest) gifts from clients.5 -
I wouldn't/haven't but then I was always in shock about how much I had to pay them....
but if you were really happy a letter addressed to her boss might go over very well. Good feedback is hard to come by in any role. Beyond that, a thank you card, maybe flowers or chocolates, a home made cake? nothing grand.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. And 20% in cash looks more like a bribe than anything else....0
