The Sale of goods act is still very much in force.Not sure that that's entirely true - my understanding is that the Consumer Rights act now covers busines to consumer transactions (including those previously covered by the Sales of Goods Act and Distance Selling regulations), while the Sale of Goods Acts remains for Business to Business transactions

The Distance Selling Regulations were replaced by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The Sale of Goods Act still exists, but for consumer purchases has been superseded by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.Jenni x2
