Loft cam!

Right, this sounds well odd, but basically I want a camera for our loft, which I could control and switch on via an app, which ideally was wireless.
Ideas?! Something quick to buy either locally or online would be good.
Back story: boiler is in the loft, boiler is on the blink. To avoid going up and down the ladder and across the loft multiple times a day I wanted to check on it like this!
Want to check the pressure, any fault codes and any water leakage!
Note, this would be a short term thing.
Ideas much appreciated!

The backstory was much less interesting than I had anticipated. Must try harder. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.9 -
Lol yeah, mind boggles eh?
It's about the most dull back story ever.0 -
I've got one of these and can't fault it, it's amazing for the money, it was £36 ish on sale they do still go on sale quite often.
I have seen even cheaper versions from aliexpress or similar but they are inevitably going to be hit and miss so do your research. an example is this one but it's the first I came across.

I'm no expert but suspect a peer to peer camera (P2P) would do what you want and is probably the cheapest option. How visible is the display on your boiler? You need to check any camera you buy can focus at nearby objects.Using an old phone could be an option but would need lighting.

Yeah, know, becoming a convoluted setup because I can't be arsed to go up a ladder and across a loft a few times a day!0 -
I have one of these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B099M24J56
NB it regularly goes on offer for much less.
If you can supply itg power then you could use https://www.amazon.co.uk/ring-indoor-cam-compact-plug-in-hd-security-camera-with-two-way-talk-black-works-with-alexa/dp/B07Q4XK79L0 -
Any cam that you can't turn night vision off won't work the leds will just reflect on the display and be blinded.0

Do you have an old phone lying around?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
