New home - energy choice
Good afternoon all,
I have recently purchased a property and have not yet fixed a energy contract and looking what the best option should be.
Currently supplied by Scottish Power and they want to give me a fixed contract of £113 a month for Gas & Electricity should I accept this or request to be on the price cap?

what rates have they offered & what does your EPC suggest annual usage to be?
p.s. this would be better in the main Energy forum rather than the LPG, Heating Oil, Solid & Other Fuels one.0 -
You first have to register with the incumbent energy supplier(s) at the new to you house.
They will (you may have to insist they do) put you on their standard variable tariff. The cheapest capped currently available. THEN, and only then, you can look to switch to A N Other supplier.0
