Sofa fabric stain

A hot plate left a wet fabric stain on my sofa. I cleaned it with fairy up liquid and a hair dryer but it’s left a bigger wet mark patch any ideas if it will go away?

How did you get the soap out?
It's most likely that the first moisture moved the usual dirt fabric aquires and wetting it moved it more.
Can you borrow a carpet cleaner lik Vax that has a fabric attachment? It probably won't remove it but should make it fainter.
A hot day is best when it will dry quickly. Perhaps do it once now then repeat when summer comes.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
