Franticday said:I contacted Morrison’s but as the supermarket is on a small retail park with 5 other stores they said there was nothing they could do!My dads V5C is up to date I imagine it’s more likely that my mum has disposed of any previous letters as she has done this before, we now have a new ‘system’ in place for post.
This letter is from CST LAW saying they have ‘been instructed by Debt Recovery Plus Limited as the agent of Smart Parking Ltd, in relation to the above debt’!
These are easy to deal with and if no-one can find an email for CST, then just post the letter I wrote. The letters and responses are probably all passed to DRP but that's fine, you can ignore their drivel.
This is absolutely a scam (as I think you and the other poster know) but you have to respond to certain letters. You certainly DO NOT pay up; nor do you ignore a court claim (that's when you win)!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
Firstly I need to apologise for taking over someone else thread. I did not mean to, I just found a lot of answers to my questions here which allowed to ask my own questions. I am very in the dark about all of this, and while I massively appreciate everyone’s responses, they are a lot to take in and try to understand as I do not speak the technical language you all do. Again, I thank you for your patience.
Since my last post, I have received an updated letter from CST Law that looks slightly better in its layout and even has a reference number on it. This is titled “Letter before claim” and states that I now have 30 days to pay £170 before I get taken to court.
I have received a response from the MP who is not interested in this case, and a response from the SRA who state that there is no wrong doing by CST Law.
I know you will all disagree but I am days away from paying this £170, as I am actually petrified that I am going to end up with a CCJ or something…!
