Uni - Household Income

I am a single Mom of one - my DD is hoping to start Uni this year.
We currently rent our house.
I have another mom friend, living on her own, again renting her house.
We were thinking of giving up our homes and renting a 3 bed house together, to save money on bills.
I understand that for uni loans, the household income is taken into account.
Am I right in thinking that as we are not a couple/partners .. only my income would be taken into account ..
Surely as we will only be housesharing, her wage would not be considered in my daughters funding?
