ASDA Water Gardens has canceled my PCN but Horizon Parking Ltd. pursuing charge

Hi All,

  Just received an email from Horizon Parking Ltd. and looks like they have not received cancellation request from ASDA at all. Sadly PCN remains outstanding. I didn’t get anything from JLL eighter

I am still chasing ASDA to complete what they started. Currently awaiting reply from service team. The asked for proof of pcn.

In the meantime I’ll be working on my Popla defence. Once completed I’ll share here.

Asda should be able to cancel.  I got a Horizons PCN through the post at thr end of 2020 which was quickly followed by a rather aggressive DRP letter. I took this down to the customer services desk and spoke to a manager (with proof of purchases- screenshots of bank statement) and he cancelled it. Plus cancelled other customers PCNs too. Mine was much further along rest yours so they should be able to do it.

Recent communication from asda saying that this being looked into and raised with person who requested a cancellation. I’d say about time. They can’t just tell one thing and do other …. 🤷‍♂️

This is another recent case of Asda promising to cancel, but with Parking Eye still chasing payment ......

In fact this is very intresting case. Shame this guy had to go through all of this to het his money back. Anyway thanks for that.

I literally received an email from a person who requested cancellation from Horizon. Let’s hope they come back to me with some good news.

Right ok. This was reply from a guy who originally requested cancellation.

“I have received your contact again through the colleague you spoke with and have chased the reason why this hasn't been cancelled as yet.

Unfortunately it has come to light that this car park is a landlord owned car park that Asda have absolutely no control or authority over. Essentially we just lease the land to have our store on. 

That's why Horizon parking haven't processed a cancellation of this and the only way to have that happen is to follow their appeals process”

Not a news I expected really but I’ll work on my stage 2 appeal. Deadline is by the end of the month.

Reply and ask him to send the cancellation request to the landlord or to give you the landlord/agent's contact details so you can take the fact Asda want it cancelled up with the landowner.

In the matter of fact I am using mobile version and that isn’t great for most forums available these days.
