Surely your hope should be that it's irrelevant?  Not sure what you're meaning by "leave my cc saved somewhere" - the guarantee relates specifically to use of the online banking or app?

That means on Apple Pay, Google Pay etc... But also Amazon etc...

My point is that use of those facilities isn't covered by the guarantee you linked to, which is clear about its scope:

That's not to say that you don't have protection in the event of unauthorised transactions though, just that they're mandated by the FCA regulations rather than being within the scope of the guarantee you found:

Barclays is tight with Apple Pay, they also offer promotions if you connetc the credit card.

What I've read in that link is exactly that, and I think that in the case of Barclays, it's pretty obvious considering that they push you towards that payment gateway.

I'm not sure about Amazon and other big stores though...
There is a section that explains the same, but it's a very big grey area
