Esa

Hi
I don't know if I am in the right forum. Please  free to tell me!  I was paid ESA on Christmas eve a week early, so i was assuming payment 2 weeks from then would be today?  I did not get the payment, so I am assuming the money will go in from its a orginal 2 week date, which means 3 weeks?

No idea why you were paid a week early. Only ESA can confirm that to you.

New Years Eve wasn't a bank holiday so it seems odd why you were paid a whole week early, unless you've got you're dates wrong. If you were due your last payment on Wednesdy 29th December then receiving it on Christmas EVE would more likely because the Tuesday was a bank holiday and your bank may have made the funds available on the last working day before Christmas.
What day do you normally receive your money?
  • I Have no idea why they paid me a week early. I am talking Christmas eve poppy12345 and my dates are correct!  I assuming now my esa will go into my bank on the usual date!
  • I thought so too cacotti, I tried ringing them today but was on hold for ages!
  • 29th was my due payment, Which I know was not a bank holiday, but I don't know if anyone else has noticed, substiute day popped up a lot on most sires!

Yes i know. Yes, next payment is now due next Friday. I've not heard of anyone else receiving it a week early.

    29th was my due payment,
So if you were paid on 24th that wasn’t actually a week early. Still doesn’t explain your payment. Had you been due on 28th then it would have been paid on 24th.

It is most likely that your next payment will be on the normal day 12th January.

I actually mis-read the date it was supposed to have been paid.
    29th was my due payment,
Yup, this is exactly what i said here.

My PIP and ESA payment was due on 29th December, which wasn't a bank holiday so i was expecting it on that day. I received the payment on 24th Decemeber, which was most likely because of this ^^ reason. My next ESA is due Wed 12th Jan.
  • Ok I think I have solved this! My next payment according to the 2 week payment should be due on the 12th as you said calcotti! If your paid early you will still get paid on the normal date! 🙄 Thanks
  • Poppy1234  I know I was annoyed they paid me early and its annoying you haven't got a choice!
