LOL - I have remains of tree strewn down the side of our house... I have log pile envy - and I only have a fire pit - so have log burner envy too although they seem to want to outlaw those.... Stands well back...
Is that just in built up areas?

I get very ranty if there's a spelling or editorial mistake in a book and refuse to read the rest.  The book often ends up in the bin as it's not fit for reading.

I have absolutely dire spelling abilities and my grammar and editorial skills are next to zero but if I find one, it must be bad.

Fingers crossed release goes well tomorrow. He will heal much better in his own bed.
Haha, he commits a worse sin in ch 2. He goes into detail about the production of a poison and is clearly just stringing together chemistry words. Sadly he talks about standalone chemical groups that don't...standalone.

    So much this!
I've just (uncharacteristically for me) done some domestic goddessing in the bedroom so it is nice for him.

I'm having to cajole myself by doing two jobs then having a cuppa.

I don't seem to mind a real typo, but really hate the there when it should be their.  Books used to have editors who used to make sure that sort of thing didn't get through.
    What happened to editors?

Unfortunately it doesn't pay well, so we had to go and get proper jobs...
Oh I see! Or in this book, I sea!

DH reviewed it on Amazon, saying "My wife bought this in a chazza for £1. She was robbed".

Can't wait to get him home.
