I like the few RL friends I have that I can just chatter on with without having to think "I wonder what sort of idiot this makes me look like".

As for energy - you don't mean OutFox do you?  They are ok but do go overboard on the upping the DDs a bit too often for my liking.  But I've stuck with them due to having a good price when I needed a new deal.

As for those who are afraid of the pension board......if you tag me when you post over there I can monitor the chat and step in if any of the regulars get snarky.  Once the notifications work of course - hopefully that will be fixed this week.

This is not a pity party but a warning.  Eventually you get older & discover that you only have 2 friends left, one the same age & you think is starting to lose his marbles & the other 20 yrs younger that they want to go in a care home but she won't & then you realise that you wish she would because then you would visit more often.
I am lucky I still have DS at home & enough money to do pretty much what I want, what I do lack is get up & go as I really need to do a new kitchen etc.
