  • Good to see our fascination or horror with squeaky clean has led you to a new 2024 goal :)
I have my robot vacuum going as I type .. he does make it easier to do a quick tidy plus  he mops too
I have just been bought an Alexa echo thing - never wanted one but I have remembered that my robot vacuum will talk to my Alexa in some way so I will sort that out later on .. I know I can set the vacuum off when I am out as well - I rarely bother but maybe I should embrace tech to its fullest to achieve squeaky clean..
intoning that means the study needs to be a tranquil place .. it’s definitely not that

my declutter efforts of this year have led to a pretty tidy main few rooms but the study and parts of my bedroom are full of I am not sure what to do with x and y ..

I repainted and tiled my own bathroom floor last year and it’s made it much more fun to be in, it’s not big enough to be a spa moment

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

@LadyWithAPlan, can you categorise the x and y at all, that are in your study and bedroom? That might help you identify what storage you need or even if you need it all?

Phew …. The outlaws have *finally* left …. They are meant to arrive at noon And always arrive at 11.15. They talk about dead people I know nothing about, a lot. They get upset when our cat (a nervy rescue) won’t interact with them. She inevitably shouts at him at some point, because she is frustrated with him being old and somewhat enfeebled. They never ask me anything about me, or my life, or what I think about anything, but also never stop talking. It’s all a bit intense …. if Mr KK finds it overwhelming I think I might be allowed to too 😉
The food went down a storm though, especially the HM rice pudding! There’s not a scrap of it left! 😉😊

Tomorrow is MY day, when I do whatever I flipping feel like, all day!

Non cat people trying to interact with cats is always a sight to see, not necessarily in a good way.

Being talked at instead of to for a whole day is very wearying, I hope you enjoy your day to the fullest.
