    Thanks @LadyWithAPlan, @beanielou, @Merlin's_Beard, @savingholmes 😊
I went to bed with a grin on my face last night! 😊

£4.27 has appeared ready for cash out in my TCB account so I have requested that be sent.

Cleared another drawer last night and have found some silver necklaces (relatively chunky) so am going to look into how to get the best price on old silver.

Well done on achieving your milestone!🎉

I used to work in a jewellers and selling silver by weight was not really worthwhile, best to sell as a piece if possible - unless times have changed.

Do you mean fleabay etc? Not sure if I have the energy for that (it would all need cleaning to start off with) …. But I shall pull it all into a heap before deciding.

Ordered my dad’s whisk (via TCB) and am having it sent straight to him. I sent him the delivery confirmation and he promptly, as expected, came back saying that he didn’t want to open it until his birthday 🙄
I have replied pleading with him in that case not to do any whisking until his birthday as I am worried about both shock and fire risk! I have copied my mother in these latest messages so hopefully she might be able to leverage the decision ….

Rang the hospice warehouse to confirm they are taking donations tomorrow. I have *filled* the car and will be down there at 8.30am to get all the stuff offloaded first thing! Then I will go to the library and change my books.

Sent £4.27 TCB payment over as an OP 😊

After that there will be much helping Mr KK move furniture in the living room for base coat plastering and fitting new skirting and new radiator.

Hoping to get most of the washing done tomorrow as the forecast for Sunday here is pretty damp so I will hope to mainly line-dry tomorrow 😊

Final (4th!) load of washing is out on the line - it helps that there is a good breeze as well as sun here today.
Charity shop run was appreciated and I have picked up some heavy duty bin bags so I can use those, instead of the storage bags I actually want to keep, for further decluttering.
Just rung my mum. She tells me that the new whisk for my dad has arrived and although he is refusing to use it before his birthday, it’s unlikely that he will need to before then …. Here’s hoping! 🤞
My mum offered a few weeks ago to spend £500 on something for the house. We have been debating further windows in the lounge and would love to get them in now to get the mess finally over and done with and before we repaint the rest of the walls from the work in there etc. We have decided on what we want and have had a loose quote which is a bit more than the £500. My mum is happy to pay for the whole lot and just give me less of a Cmas present - I am delighted as that really eases the pressure on us and we should be able to get all the mess done and dusted (literally!) in the lounge before Cmas 😊
Just about to head out into the garden and tidy up the front 😊 First time in ages I will have done any actual gardening!
