Zog to EDF - are EDF losing the plot?
I reside in Essex and had a letter from EDF weeks ago giving my Accpunt No. and confirming supply address, yesterday another letter about billing dates which quotes the supply address as a flat on the South Coast !
30 minute wait on the phone to speak to CS who blamed information supplied by Zog.
Yesterday evening my daughter who lives 7 miles away, rang me to tell me she had received the same letter and which also gave a completely wrong supply address

I got that letter too. I live in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, but my supply address, according to EDF, is in Rugely, Staffordshire! What are they playing at?

I received a similar letter yesterday! Correct account number, addressed to me, I live in Norwich and it referred to a supply address in Stockport! The letter was to explain that the date for my bill was to be later than the current billing date. I checked my account online and all seemed to be in order so I put it down to a random clerical error, but clearly this is a wider problem.2

Also received the letter showing an address in Wales as the supply address (200 miles away!), their mail merge software has surely messed up, the details are correct when I log on to my account.I went on chat to confirm my account is ok, and it is. They appologised... "I apologise for the technical issue that has happened. We will send feedback to the relevant team and I assure that this instance will never be repeated".A minor annoyance to have to confirm my account info isn't wrong, hopefully there won't be any other issues going forward...0

Me either! However Zog have sent me my final bill indicating I’m £54 in credit. Hoping that finds its way to EDF at some point.brewerdave said:I'm upset - EDF haven't written to me !!

The £54 will never make its way to EDF. You, and I, are now unsecured creditors of a failed business which is in administration. EDF will credit you with the £54 which after a few twists and turns will be recovered in the form of a surcharge on the bill of every domestic energy consumer. Whether or not Ofgem recovers the few pence in the £ that the administrator should pay out to domestic customers is an unknown.tim_p said:
