I have used testing4all before and have been very impressed .zagfles said:
Testing4all allow full refunds on cancellation for any reason I think. I had to cancel a test with them due to me changing my travel plans and got a full refund within days.CKhalvashi said:
That's nice of them.soolin said:
Thank you, we have been following the announcements with interest this afternoon . Not having to do the LFTs before we depart for the UK will save us £35 each which is useful. Interestingly I had day 2 PCR tests booked with testing4all and late afternoon got a message from them to say I didn’t need them so my order was cancelled and refunded, and instead they sent me a link to book LFTs at £17 a go, so I saved a great deal on that transaction as well.CKhalvashi said:Hi all,
Just wanted to give a heads up for everyone who hasn't seen the new testing requirements from this weekend, for some strange reason confusingly being brought in 2 changes.
From 0400 on Friday 7 January 2022, ENGLAND will remove the requirement for a pre-departure test
From 0400 on Sunday 9 January 2022, ENGLAND will switch the Day 2 requirement from PCR to Lateral FlowI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Too confusing for me, live in Wales, but departure and arrival in England airport.
I assume I follow England and Wales?!
Why can't they have the same!
Then there is the country I'm travelling to rules.
Can I order the private kit now, ready for testing June/July?
Is fully vaccinated meaning only 2 shots? Booster? 2nd booster?
I'm going for 5 nights.
Its putting me off travelling.1 -
If I’ve read your post correctly and you are not even travelling until June/July why are you even thinking about it now? it’s far too early, there will probably be several changes before then.Marvel1 said:Too confusing for me, live in Wales, but departure and arrival in England airport.

I’ve been away for a week and whilst I have been here the rules have already changed. Sit back and wait until 2 weeks before you go, then start researching.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Although that's probably a rhetorical question, the answer is of course that the majority of the electorate in your nation supported the introduction of devolved powers, which grants the Welsh Senedd the right to set its own rules in this area rather than being forced to follow those set by Westminster. The confusion caused by Covid policy variations has naturally led to a desire to have a four nations approach to such issues, but with public health being a devolved matter, it's unsurprising that this leads to different approaches being adopted by the politicians....Marvel1 said:Too confusing for me, live in Wales, but departure and arrival in England airport.
