Not a surprise, they are as much use as a chocolate teapot given they can be unsupervised and there is all manner of ways to cheat the system (none of which I will post on here)1

Agreed. A general request not to fly if you have Covid would do just as well.emmajones1976 said:Not a surprise, they are as much use as a chocolate teapot given they can be unsupervised and there is all manner of ways to cheat the system (none of which I will post on here)I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You would like to think so wouldn't you but I suspect a minority will be selfish and fly regardless as long as it suits their own needs.silvercar said:

Those kind of people would just fly regardless, as the tests are not supervised it is easy to pass one, you could stick the swab straight in, only use saliva, dip it in water, get someone else to do it etc. They are utterly pointless.Westin said:

It seems a fairly UK thing for the do at home with photos as not seeing the same being offered in the US market... but even if you ignore those and buy local there are firms here offering a "no test" result certificate for a little more than the us$20 for an actual test and cert plus stories of hotels offering to change a result to avoid offering the 50% discount "covid isolation rate".MattMattMattUK said:

Hardly a surprise, hotels abroad arent going to want people cluttering up their hotels 10 days longer than their planned stay, especially if they are fully booked.0

Its interesting that increasing outlets are having the confidence to state this good news but I do wonder where there are getting their info from.cx6 said:0 -
Its more the £55/£69 ones on return I would rather see binned tbh, the pre-departure ones are a fraction of the cost of that.0
