Afternoon all,
not much happening today myself and OH went out to a discount store that does best before dated stuff and got some bargains. Just got home but the weather is definitely getting a little chillier in the afternoons, I’ve run myself a nice hot bubble bath and I plan on giving myself a face mask and some wine to chill out. Going to start watching that Dahmer series on Netflix, it’s OH turn to make dinner later and I think he’s settled with steak, chips and peppercorn sauce!I have to make work lunches for tomorrow and Tuesday as I’m not familiar with the euro car parts that I’m going to be working at so no temptation to go to Tesco etc.
debt wise, still at £695 but on payday it will be £495! Also, Vanquis sent me a letter saying I over paid them when I was in my debt management plan with them and they owe me £19.95! So that’s a nice little surprise, I’ll be putting that onto my starling account and keeping that for Christmas.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Morning all! It’s nice and crisp out has been all morning, just got back from my sainsburys shift. Usually I nap but this morning I’m feeling productive so I’ve made a frothy coffee and put some washing on and also put the heating on for half an hour to take the chill off.I’m really enjoying my new job and I’ve gotten along with the people there great already.Myself and OH are going away for a week at the end of November to Lincolnshire in a log cabin on a lake with a hot tub! We’re taking the dogs also.Money wise I have £495 that I know I can pay off by Christmas. I plan on saving some cash in my starling account for Christmas presents as OH main present is the newest Xbox which is around £380 with my sainsburys discount. My last Euro Car Parts pay threw me off as it was only £800 as they didn’t advise anything outside of my contracted 25 hours would go into the next months pay. I’ve been working 39.5 hour weeks when I don’t do my Saturday shifts and when I do my Saturday shifts I’m working 46.5 but the day flies so fast and I really enjoy it. I know some of you guys worry about me but I’m making sure I take plenty of breaks and get plenty of sleep! So my pay for November should be nice with all my over time currently. I plan to buy all Christmas presents around that time also!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Afternoon all,
im sooo close to being debt free but once that happens (hopefully before Christmas) I’m going to stick to a budget plan. I’ve seen ideas for ways of saving. Otherwise I know I’m not going to have a plan at all and be back to square one.I have the two catalogue credits still open, one was increased recently but I’m not even tempted to look at it. I’ve paid them off but it will increase my credit score a tiny bit, I’ll probably close them after Christmas.Sainsburys pay is this Friday and I did a double shift two weeks ago so should be a nice pay, the pay is £10.25ph starting after this payday!Beef curry is for dinner later, OH turn to cook. So I’m also taking curry left overs for my work lunch. We’re also going to bathe the dogs as they went on walkies up the mountain earlier. Ernie loves his walks yet he hasn’t learnt that peeing and pooing is for outside yet
overall I’m in a good space, I’m saving money from payday towards Ryan’s Xbox that I’ll buy next month! My brother has his girlfriend who live at my mams both have Covid also!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards.
