I applied for a copy of a will and grant of probate 2 days ago, it arrived this afternoon. Executors' addresses were on both documents
I applied for a copy of will/grant on December 10th (probate had been granted on December 3rd) with an estimated delivery of December 27th.
It is still sitting in my orders waiting for approval to download!

In my case probate had been granted in August and the documents were available on the date stated by the PR.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

You say recently. They send the probate details to the website about 14 days afterwards. There is also a note on the gov.uk site at the moment, stating that since Nov 23rd they are having issues with being able to download online. So you may be ok for a bit.

You have my utmost sympathy on this,I had to move 300 miles away from my violent husband, and make sure he never found out my address,so I know how worried you must be.
Thank you - I'm sorry you had to do that. It's so destabilising and frustrating to know you might have to uproot your life suddenly because of someone else. We've done so much for years to stay off his radar and I just didn't know I needed to think about this, and I'm now so mad at myself!

Unfortunately it's been uploaded already - the one time in this process they managed to be efficient, the irony!

Thanks to all who suggested speaking to the police anyway, I will do that. We've also emailed probate to ask if we could change the address to a PO Box or similar, to make sure we're complying with the (presumably legal) requirement to have an executor's address, but I don't hold out much hope.

Thank you.It was a very stressful time,I had to.give up friends, family( on his side ) my home and my business. But I was determined that this time( after twice trying previously) I would not go back, and with the help.of a solicitor, miles away, and a very good bank manager who made sure nothing went back to his address I stopped being scared to go out or answer the door and telephone.I lived with family in a new area and have made a good life for myself.

Two weeks after leaving ,my sister was getting married and I was scared he would turn up as he knew where it was going to be.My solicitor not me a rapid injunction preventing him coming near or he would get arrested, and all my new brother in law 's male relatives were on alert to look out for him.

If you know where he lives perhaps you could have one served on him so he would be at risk if he approached you or your home. You would then be covered it he does get your address.

I do hope though that it won't happen. All the best to you and your family
