I want to bargain with sky over the £30 activation charge for bb. Has anyone ever tried and succeeded with this? Thanks

You could try cancelling your Sky TV, always a good ploy, but you have to be prepared to fail and lose your service for a few weeks.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • I had my fee waived today.

That said I have had problems with them setting up my transfer from bt to sky so it was more of a goodwill gesture.

First of all, they also offered me a sky+ box (for my multiroom) and activation all in for £50. Kinda wished I had taken that option now. I am confident of getting the SKY+ free anyway, I think its fair enough after what I have been paying out to bt whislt waiting for them to get me set up with them.
    3 bounce offs v Tesco's, 3 wins = £190+
