It is not a prosecution, it is a civil case; you are defendant and other side is the claimant.  No evidence goes with a defence.
Your paragraphs 2 & 3 are confusing, in 2 you deny being the driver whereas in 3 you "have little or no recollection".

    That's good

How did DCBL explain the fake add-on ? was it their normal rubbish ... DAMAGES ?

Damages for what ....... and that is the scam.
We have never seen an answer to that and we need to know so hope you can get this via the judge.
Then there is the serious matter about the person who signed the statement truth, no doubt the usual one being Yasmin Mia. As you know a false statement can lead to contempt of court

It worth understanding that DCBL have two words for this fake ... "debt recovery" or "damages"
Which word they use depends on the ticket date and the code of practice operating at that time.

UKPC operated car parks in general have poor unreadable signs and where you parked should have a warning sign or markings but clearly not

    Hi All,

Just wanted to add an update to this.

Had a court date set for July, prior to the date had letters asking if I would settle out of court to which I ignored and fully intended on pursuing my case in front of a judge.

This morning however, received a letter to say they are dropping the case and no longer pursuing?

This is clearly a waste of the courts time using them as a vessel to intimidate people. Surely the time wasted on the courts must add up as they're doing this all over the country. Can DCB Legal / UKPC be challenged on the mass issuing of court cases?

Sad I wont have my day in court considering the lead up to this point and time taken to draft my case, etc. Equally glad its over and done with too.

Happening regularly with a defended UKPC/DCB Legal case. Well done in getting the monkey off your back.

    Absolutely.

Class action?  Needs to be started by somebody. Facebook Group page might get it going. Have you reported this common occurrence to your MP?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Couldnt have gotten the monkey off my back without the experts on this forum it really is a great tool for us novices fighting these scammers. So thank you to all who regularly post here and actively support the many people in my position.

I didnt consider contacting my MP, but again thanks for pointing that avenue out. I'll be contacting mine as its clearly wasting resource and surely could be easily verified looking through county court submissions.

Thanks again, hopefully wont need further advise in this area :)

Please come back every week and do the final Public Consultation (date TBA) because having won the war, we have to do it all again now:

    https://www.racfoundation.org/media-centre/firms-fight-back-against-reforms-to-parking-on-private-land

Back to square one. Sadly. Here we go again.

Even the ban on debt recovery fake costs is back under discussion and we need to WIN it all over again.

Come back please and join the fight; add your evidence that, if the signs had been clearer, the 'deterrent warning' would have worked even if the parking charge was £10.

No driver sets out to get these but parking charges need to be MUCH lower than £100 and very clearly communicated, to be fairer to the public.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
