@Cherryfudge i would think any onion would do and if no harissa, any chilly powder/flakes. Ms C works at N@ndo@s and i have been dipping it into their new tomato and feta dip. So very good. It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.4

Still having quite a successful clear out but I can't see any holes yet!!
In the last few days I've used up 2 chicken breasts, beans, mince beef and some tortilla wraps. I also got the kids making flap jacks, so used up a nice pile of oats that have been sitting there for a while. I closed my eyes to the mess!!
Feeling so much more in control I'm very pleased with myself 😁 have spent about £40 this week on the shop and paid myself £23 for stock used. I think that's all right for a family of 4! I'll need to get some milk, honey and eggs tomorrow but I'll try to just stick to that.Grocery challenge:

You guys are doing well!
I've put a couple of portions of tikka in the freezer and taken out spinach that I froze pre-holiday, a couple of sausages, some bacon, chicken and liver. The new stash of yogurt is already going down, as is the dried milk that I used to make this batch.
There are blackberries to go in if DH doesn't eat them soon, and I've finished a punnet of blueberries and some honey. I'm going to have to throw out some Brazil nuts that don't taste right. On the plus side, I bought sugar and picked our gooseberries so I can make jam.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

In: 2 chicken pies, chicken fajita mix. From a tgtg bag: pack breakfast muffins.
Out: 0
The tgtg bag was a bit ridiculous. £1.99: 6 sandwiches, a loaf of danish bread and the above mentioned breakfast muffins. At least packed lunch for work sorted for next few days! I am very thankful for it though. It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.5 -
I forgot I ordered a veg box as there was a heavy discount for 3 weeks. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Got a broccoli, potatoes, tomatoes, salad leaves, raspberries, one pepper, courgettes, green beans and some nectarines. I won't need any fruit or veg for my weekly shop now.
Need to pop out to get some milk, honey and eggs then I think that'll be me done with the shops for a bit (I hope but there is no telling when you are trying to keep up with the kids hunger during the holidays!)Grocery challenge:
