That sounds like a lovely box! With which company was it?
I am in the lucky position that i got to know someone who can provide venison at good price (no middleman)
In: venison burgers, sausages, mince, bone-in shoulder.
Out: 2min porridge, disc of mango (froze mango juice a while back in muffin tray) for breakfast. Fajita mix and tortillas for dinner.

We had family visiting yesterday so there are lots of leftovers. We finished the tuna in pasta today which leaves some (cooked) green beans and peas, (raw) carrots, roast chicken, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, ham and an extra pint of milk.

I sent some items home with the guests, and there's still all that!

There are also grapes, quiche, peppers and daily pickings of blackberries from the garden. I've still got a few gooseberries to turn into jam, too. I think dinner tomorrow might be 'chicken and' pie. I could roast carrots, peppers and some red onions from the depths of the onion bag to go with it and maybe put baking potatoes in the oven to make best use of the heat. Extras can be reheated another day.

Oh, and I have bananas and eggs. Why do I always have bananas and eggs?

@Cherryfudge - we are constantly running out of eggs and bananas! 😆

Our dinner tonight will be healthy s&s made with a recipe from the hirsute bikers.  The tinned pineapple and water chestnuts have been languishing in the stores since the end of lockdown so have decided they deserve using up!

Went camping this weekend and only had to buy milk and 1 tomato, everything was from freezer, cupboard or allotment:
Out: venison sausages, breakfast muffins, garlic, tin baked beans with sausages, aubergine curry, eggs, crackers. Chard, onion from allotment. Also made baba ganoush with some of the aubergines to take along.
We treated ourselves to dinner from a food cart on-site the first night.
Managed to gift half the aubergines got left to a neighbour, so will make another batch of aubergine curry for freezer. Think got about 8 aubergines left from the olio box of 20!
@Frugalistamama congrats on the saving on your shopping! It a great step.
Ms C and I was thinking of doing a glass jar and putting money we save in there, a visual reminder of when we being good.
